The final installment to the PAA Lunch with the UAB Docs 2023 webinar series featuring Dr. Haydeh Payami, the Endowed Chair in Neurology at UAB was held November 16, 2023. Dr. Payami is also the founder and Lead Investigator of the NeuroGenetics Research Consortium.
Dr. Payami and her team of researchers are featured in the Heersink School of Medicine's News at UAB for their current research that focuses on deciphering the interaction of the human genome, gut microbiome, and environmental factors in the causation, progression, and treatment of Parkinson's disease. Dr. Payami shares more about her findings in the November webinar below.
